What is your passion?
What I love about photography is that there are never-ending genres to explore, but if I had to narrow it down, my current passions in photography would be long exposure, landscape, and street photography. I hope to add underwater photography to my list in the near future. I’ve always been a bit of a lone wolf, so the challenge of seeking out the perfect shot coincides with my personality and appetite for adventure. You don’t have to rely on anything other than yourself and your camera. I also like how luck factors a role in these photographic genres; It makes it exciting because there is always the possibility that something unexpected could happen, like a bizarre change weather or a person doing something
unbelievable. You might go out with zero expectations and return with one of your best shots yet.

Where is your favorite place to explore?
I like to venture to places where not a lot of people are able to go, whether it be hiking up a mountain, kayaking through an island, trudging through a dense jungle, or sneaking into an abandoned building. I want to capture photos that make other people say “I wish I could go there”.

What is the most important thing in your camera bag besides your camera and lenses/attachments?
garbage bag just in case I get blitzkrieged by rain!

If you had 10 minutes to decide and get on a plane, where would you go?
Iceland or New Zealand
