Established in 2010, Porteen Gear specializes in custom made leather camera bags, camera straps and travel cases.
This company was founded on the passion of photography and travel! Started on a bootstrap with our first bag made from a thrift store leather skirt, we have created a company that values excellent customer service and functional, quality products for adventurers.
Our niche is one that inspires you to design your own hand-crafted bags and straps. And we now offer curated goods for travel that we have used and love.
Environment
We use mostly leather and fabrics left over from the furniture industry to keep the seconds from ending up in landfills.
All bags and straps are handmade in our studio in Grand Rapids, MI.
